Martin East     Martin East is one of LA's finest DJ/producers. Arriving in LA from London in the late 90's after appearing as an actor in the movie Titanic, Martin quickly settled down to follow his first love - Music.   Remixes for Jill Scott, New Order and Nikka Costa were followed by his own deep house productions that have been filling dance floors for the last 6 years. His original music is popular all around the world finding a home on compilations from Italy, UK and even Brasil (for such labels as Om, Bargrooves and Ministry of Sound).   As a DJ, Martin has traveled the globe and has been rocking his signature night Mundial here in LA for the past 5 years. He has played some high profile events and been the forefront of some major campaigns, whether it was the Golden Globe party for Miramax, post Oscar party for Twentieth Century Fox or being the face of Jaguar X Type music campaign (along with Zero 7 and Thievery Corporation). Martin is also a fixture playing fashion shows in NY and LA.   Splitting time between California, Europe and Bali, and with a prolific production portfolio, Martin always stays on the leading edge bringing the freshest sounds to Kapa.
